Here is what Nuala had to say about her time with us so far and the 6 week challenge...
"I've always trained, I have had breaks in the past when life gets in the way. However, for the last few years, exercise has been a non-negotiable for my well being and mental health, as well as my physical fitness.
Over the years I would yo yo in terms of my physique, all dependent on how focused I am on my nutrition even though I know the basics, I don't necessarily apply them.
I had a health 'MOT' through work and everything was good in terms of my diet, exercise and health.
However, I was told that I am slightly overweight.
To lose some weight, I considered getting a nutritionist but I was then introduced to the Motion 6 week challenge in January which combined everything - education, good programming, a nutritionist, accountability and a tight nit community of support.
I've also had some 1-1s with Jenny the nutritionist to focus on areas that are more relevant to me as a woman in her 40s.
I'm halfway to my long term goal and I continue to see progress in my strength and fitness!
The challenge was that I needed to focus on my nutrition so it's sustainable.....I've also really enjoyed being part of the Motion community that Mark, Nathan and the other coaches are creating with the programs, the challenges, member events, socials and regular messages of encouragement...
and I look forward to continuing to progress.
